Reto Latino #34

Las week Faby from Reto latino invited me to be a Guest Designer for the next 3 challenges. I feel so happy and honored to make some cards for this fabulous group.


I know this is Christmas Season, but for some reason when I saw the sketch for this week, I thought of Valentines Day! :)

La semana pasada Faby de Reto Latino, me invito a participar con ellas como disenadora invitada por los siguientes 3 retos. Me siento muy feliz y honrada de poder hacer tarjetas para este grupo fabuloso.

Yo se que estamos en epoca navidena, pero cuando mire el esquema para esta semana, pense en el dia del Amor y la Amistad! :)

I love love Kraft colored cardstock, it seems to go with every color, so far, this combo of Kraft, Red and white is one of my favorites.

I also love these stamps from Close To My Heart, I like they carry stamps in Spanish!!!!!

Me fascina el cardstock color Kraft, parece que combina con cualquier color, esta combinacion de Kraft, rojo y blanco es una de mis favoritas.

Tambien me gustan mucho estas estampas de Close To My Heart, me encanta que ellos tienen estampas en Espanol.

And here is the card. I know my coloring is far than perfect, I have to practice a lot. Meanwhile I'm enjoying this technique.

Esta es la tarjeta que hize. Se que my coloreado esta muy lejos de ser perfecto, tengo mucho que practicar. Mientras tanto disfruto mucho de esta tecnica.

I'm fighting a cold, and need to prepare for a scrapbook class I teach monthly at church, otherwise I'll be coloring more Mo's images...

Man is cold outside!!!!!! Ijoles, hace frio afuera!!!!

For the past days, here in Arizona (Mesa), we have had cold days... I know is not as bad as in other states, but we are not use to it, at least I'm not. :/

What I do like about it is that with the heater on, the house gets very cozy and perfect for me to sit and make some crafts.

Today I made a card and an ornament for our Christmas tree.

Es estos ultimos das, aqui en Arizona (Mesa), hemos tenido un clima frio... Se que no esta tan mal como en otros estados, pero no estamos acostumbrados a tanto frio, bueno al menos yo no estoy :/

Lo que me gusta de este tiempo, es que con la calefaccion prendida, la casa se pone bien rica, perfecta como para sentarme y hacer manualidades

Hoy hize una tarjeta y un adorno para nuestro arbol de Navidad.

I love the dimension the glitter gives to the snowman:

Me encanta la dimension que la diamantina le da al mono de nieve.

For this paper pieced snowman I used a Hero Arts' digital stamp and lots of scraps!!!!!

Para el mono de nieve utilize una estampa digital de Hero Arts y un monton de retacerias de papel!!!

This ornament is for a challenge at Piensa Scrap! We had to create a Christmas ornament. I used a leftover piece from a cardstock album I got in a kit...I believe it was made by Tinkering Ink.

I love this picture of my son, he was 4 months old.

Este adorno lo hize para un reto en Piensa Scrap! . Teniamos que hacer un adorno navideno. Utilize una pieza suelta que me quedo de un album, creo que hecho por Tinkering Ink.

Me encanta esta foto de mi hijo, el tenia apenas 4 mesesitos de nacido.

Now, off to clean my scrap desk... it's a desaster!!!!

Ahora, a limpiar mi mesa de scrap...es un total regero!!!!!

I love making cards Me gusta mucho hacer tarjetas.

One of the things I discovered some time after I started scrapbooking is cardmaking! And I love it more since I can make them using scraps!!!

I made 2 cards for 2 challenges, these were made with the last scraps from a kit.

Una de las cosas que descubri un poco despues de empezar 'scrapbooking' is tarjeteria. Y me gusta mucho mas ya que se pueden hacer con los pedazos de papel que van quedando despues de hacer una pagina!!!

Hize 2 tarjetas para dos retos, estan hechas con recortes que me quedaron de un kit.

I know I've said before that I love sketches... and that is the truth...I love them!!!
