No inventen! ¿pueden creer que Navidad está ya a la vuelta de la esquina?

¿Ya pusieron su arbolito? Yo no, y mi hijo no está muy contento que digamos,

espero maana por fin tener tiempo y ponerlo.

Perfect Sentiments 07, "Stitch-it Baby"

Hello beautiful crafters! 

I'm sorry I'm a little bit late posting the challenge, but I have been

under the weather for the past 2 weeks. Thankfully I was felling a little better

to create my card for this week's challenge at The Perfect Sentment's blog.

The challenge is a very cute one:

Create a card that reflects the sentiment of BABY.

The twist:

Use some stitching on your card, it can be handmade , machine or faux.

¡Hola bellas amantes de las manualidades!

Lo siento que estoy subiendo el post un poco tarde (y que no puse la traducción

para el reto pasado), pero ya tengo enferma dos semanas y ni animos de escribir.

Por suerte un día me sentí bien y pude hacer la tarjeta para el 

reto de ésta semana para The Perfect Sentiment.

El reto es uno muy tierno: 

Crear una tarjeta que refleje el sentimiento de BEBÉ

El truco extra: 

Usar algun tipo de costura, ya sea a máquina, a mano o falsa.

My card:  "Welcome Beautiful Baby"

I love when I create something  using just scraps, everything

but the ribbon were leftovers from a kit.

My hand "zig-zag" stitching is a little bit uneven, but it's ok!

So, this week's challenge is perfect to start welcoming the upcoming season.

Wow! challenge #3, can you believe it? 

Feels like it was yesterday when I was posting the challenge #2.

I visited all the talented ladies who submitted a card  all of them gorgeous

you ladies are so talented.

So, for this week at The Perfect Sentiment
we have another fun challenge:
Create a card that reflects a sentiment of "get well",  the twist is
to use embossing on your card, it can be dry or heat.

Parece que fué ayer cuando estaba subiendo la entrada del reto #2.
Estube visitando los blogs de las participantes de la semana pasada
y me quedé maravillada con las tarjetas que miré!

tenemos otro reto muy divertido:
Crear una tarjeta que refleje el sentimiento de "que te mejores",
el truquito extra es que tienen que usar la tecnica de embossing,
ya sea seco o caliente.


After The Rain...

The Sun Always Shines Again.

I used my Big Shot and an embossing folder to add the little
dots to the clouds.

I just love this stamp, I used my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol to
color it, the umbrella is paper pieced.

Me gusta mucho la estampa, la compré... para variar... 
cuando salí con Bricela a nuestra tienda favorita especializada
en estampas.  Usé mis Prismacolors y Gamsol para colorearla,

Perfect Sentiments Challenge 02: Friendship Inspiration

Welcome to this week Perfect Sentiments Challenge, we are so very 

happy for all the participants who submitted a card last week.

This week our challenge is to create a card that reflects

a sentiment of friendship and the twist is to use the following 

picture as inspiration.

Bienvenidas a el reto de ésta semana en Perfects Sentiments,

estamos muy contentas por todas las participantes que 

subieron su tarjeta la semana pasada.

Esta semana el reto es crear una tarjeta que refleje

un sentimiento de amistad,  el truco extra es usar la 

siguiente fotografía como inspiración.

This is the card I came up with. the sentiment in the heart

is in Spanish en it means:  "Thank for your friendship"

 Ésta es la tarjeta que hice. me gusta que el sentimiento 

está en Español.

I love the color combination in the picture

and I also went for the stripes.

For the heart, I used a technique I learned in a recent 

stamping class I took.
