Comenzando el año nuevo tarjeteando

¡Felíz Año Nuevo!  ¿Cómo comenzaron el año? Yo, alegremente entre familia y amigos y llenandome los dedos de tinta y pegamento.

Ojalá sea un buen auguro de que tendré más tiempo... o mejor dicho que administraré mejor mi tiempo, para crear más y más seguido. Quiero participar en retos, cuando empezé con éste hobby, me encantaba participar pero poco a poco me fuí alejando... y quiero volver a las andadas.

Happy New Year! How did you receive the year? I started 2014 celebrating among family and friends and getting inky-gluey fingers. 

I hope it is a good sign that I will have more time ... actually, that I will manage my time better so I can  create more and more often.   I want to be able to participate in challenges;  when I started with this hobby, I loved participating but I slowly drifted away... and I really want to go back to those old happy days.

The Perfect Sentiments Challenge 04, Season's Greetings

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 

really!!! I went  to Joann yesterday and they are changing displays already,

Halloween and Thanksgiving are out, Christmas is in...

So, this week's challenge is perfect to start welcoming the upcoming season.

The challenge: Create a card that reflects a Sentiment of 

Season's Greetings. The twist: use the sketch provided.

Ésta es una entrada medio agri-dulce, pues me despido 

del DT de Sweet Card Club ... esa es la parte agria, la dulce... pues por que

el reto de Octubre,  es hacer una tarjeta 

con el tema Halloween y esa es una palabra sinónimo de dulces!

Aparte del tema Halloween, tienen que incluir el color

verde en alguna parte de la tarjeta.

This is a bitter-sweet post,  because I´m saying

good bye to the Sweet Card Club´s DT, that is the bitter part; the sweet

one is the theme, for this month the challenge is to create a Halloween card, and 

means candies and candies are sweet! 

Besides the theme, the color green should be used

any part of the card.

Me encanta la estampa de los buhos tratando de espantar a los

murcielagos. 

Intenté colorearla tipo aquarelas usndo unas brochita expeciales

y tinta de Distress Inks, es una técnica que he visto varias

veces en el blog de Jennifer McGuire y creo que también

en el de Tim "mi amado" Holtz.

I just love that owls stamp. I colored it watercolor style, using 

the water flow brushes and Distress Inks, it is a technique I´ve seen

many times on Jennifer McGuire´s blog and also on 

Tim "my beloved" Holtz.

Cool "InLinkz link manager" Wednesday...

I love the new tool that Inlinkz is offering,  a cool widget you can insert in your blog to display lists of products, menus and buttons. 
But first, I want to share an altered box I made to enter in two different challenges.

Pero primero quiero compartirles una cajita alterada que hice para dos diferentes retos.

For the Mo´s DP2 challenge, the theme was "celebration". 

This month we (Mexicans) celebrate México Independence Day and this beautiful girl was perfect for  my project. For Stamping Paper, 

the challenge is to decorate a box for a birthday and use green, white and red.

El reto en Mo´s Digital DP2,  es usar el tema "Celebración" y como éste mes celebramos la

independencia de México usé esta folkrórica muñequita que quedó perfecta.

Para el reto de Stamping Paper, tenemos que hacer una cajita de cumpleaños, y pues

yo estoy festejando el cumple de mi amado pais.

Isn´t Rosa soooo pretty? She is one of my favorite digi stamps.

¿verdad que Rosa está preciosa?  Es uno de mis sellos digitales preferidos.

I used an empty Cricut cartridge box, I can see myself decorating all the boxes I have and

giving them as Christmas presents!!!

Texturadamente emocionada...

... así me sentí un día llegó el cartero y me dió un paquetito

que inmediatamente reconoci venía de otro pais, firmé muy contenta

y rápido pues quería entrar a la casa, abrirlo y ver el contenido. 

¡¡Oh grandísima sorpresa cuando lo abro y veo las preciosidades de materiales

que venian dentro, Papeles de la marca Texturarte !!

Y no solo eso, también muchos adornitos además de una bellisima 

tarjeta creada por una de las artistas detras de Texturarte, 

nuestra querida y talentosa Ytzia, la tarjeta que me mandó es ésta, 

la foto la saqué del blog de Crea Lo Inimaginable .

¿La recuerdan? En verdad que es aun mas bella en persona de lo que se

mira en la foto. La flor está hermosa, llena de textura y dimensión.

Y precisamente fué la flor la que me inspiró a hacer el siguiente layout con las 

preciosidades que recibí.

Recibi papeles iguales con los que Ytzia hizo la tarjeta, así que por supuesto me fusilé

la idea de la flor.  

Si aún no tienen la oportunidad de adquirir productos Texturarte, no la

piensen mucho, se los recomiendo ampliamente, son de buenísima

calidad y diseños preciosos.

Les cuento rápidito por que esas caras en la foto. Los novios son mis amados padres, 

y la viejita chula con cara de mala en mi abue materna (que en verdad era muy buena).

Mi papá no se quizo confesar pues el no era católico, y de alguna forma

convenció al cura de casarlo a mi mamá; cuando mi abuela se enteró se enojó

y no quería salir en las fotos, mi mamá se estaba desesperando y mi

papá tratando de menguar la situación... el resultado?  Esas caras!!

Y.... aprovechando  que me quedaron recortes de papeles que use en mi layout,

hice la siguiente tarjeta para participar en el pimer reto en el blog de 

Retos Pomba Menxaseira 

En donde mi queria y talentosa amiga Laura 

es una de las diseñadoras.

El reto era incluir una paloma en el proyecto. Yo me encontré entre mis estampas

ésa palomita bella, la estampé con VersaMark y después le hice embossed en blanco.

Con tres diferentes colores de Distress Inks, le dí el color de fondo.

La base de la tarjeta es del mismo papel de donde recorté las hojas para las flores de 

mi layout, y el marco delgadito verde y las hojas detrás de las flores es la otra cara 

del papel de base.

Las flores son de yute con unas perlitas en el centro, y las hojas de 

un die de Sizzix que lo tengo hace mucho tiempo.

Espero les gusten estos dos proyectos, ambos los hice con mucho cariño.

entre ellas un regalito muy lindo que recibí, y estoy haciendo mi lista de a quien

pasarselo ;)
