Today, the missionaries came over for dinner. We had grilled fish, white Mexican rice, salad and watermelon juice!

También, quiero compartir con ustedes ésta página que hize para el blog de Kiki Art. Como me fascinan éstas fotos de Seth.

Supplies: Patterned paper: Kiki Art; Cardstock: Bazzill; Punches: EK Success (butterfly and border on banner), SU! (Circles); Other: Embroidery floss, homemade mists.

I love alphabet stickers, but I always run out of letters, and they don't have the special symbols we use in the Spanish alphabet. So, I design the title or journal on my computer and print it on cardstock, then, I cut each letter and glue them on my page. They look like those expensive stickers, but they are waaay cheaper, I have tons of fonts to choose from and I always have the letters I need!!!

Me gustan mucho los stickers de alfabetos, pero siempre se me acaban ciertas letras; y no tienen los símbolos especiales que usamos en el Español. Asi que, yo diseño el título o journaling en mi compu y lo imprimo; luego, recorto letra por letra y las pego en la página. Se miran igual que esos carísimos alfabetos, pero son mucho mas baratos, tengo un montón de fuentes para escoger y siempre tengo las letras que necesito!!

I have some scraps from projects I recently made using Bo Bunny Papers. And, because I don't like to throw anything away, I decided to make a paper piecing card for the challenge.

We celebrated Dori´s 18th birthday...yes... She is 18... I know,   she looks like 13!!!. Next month she´ll be leaving to Colorado State University... I´m going to miss this young lady a lot... she is the daughter of one of my best friends!

Celebramos el cumpleaños número 18 de Dori... asi es... tiene 18... yo se,  parece de 13!!!! El mes que entra se va a la universidad. Va a Colorado State University... como voy a extrañar a esta muchachita... es la hija de una de mis  mejores amigas!!!

Saturday July 17th. "At the Park"

We went to the park in the morning.  Danny helped Seth conquer the "hard" monkey bars. I love the expression of my son in this picture.

Sunday 18th. "Good News"

I love when the Sunday paper has "this kind of good news". Kids eat free and free sub? I got love Quiznos!

Me gusta mucho cuando el periódico de los domingos trae éste tipo de "buenas noticias". ¿Los niños no pagan y sandwiches gratis? ¡Como me encanta Quiznos!

Saturday July 10. We went to buy fruit and vegetables at the local farmers market.

Sunday July 11. It was around 102°F outside, when we were getting ready to go home after church. I was thinking of 2 things: 1. We need to wash the car and 2. I wished the temperature inside the car was at least 80°F.

Doming 11 de Julio.  Estaba alrededor de los 39°C afuera, cuando estabamos listos para regresar a la casa des pués de la iglesia.  Pensé 2 cosas: 1. Necesitamos lavar el carro. 2. Como deseé que la temperatura adentro del carro estuviera por lo  menos en los 27°C.

Every 4th of July, we watch the fire works from a little hill in Tempe (AZ)

We've done it for the past 6 years. In our opinion, we have the best seats in town. To get there we  have to hike a little bit; but every year, we confirm... that  it is worthy!!!!

The empty chair on the right is mine... hey!...  somebody had to take the pictures!!!

Cada 4 de Julio, miramos los juegos pirotecnicos desde una colinita en Tempe (Arizona). Lo hemos hecho por los últimos 6 años. En nuestra opinión, nosotros siempre tenemos los mejores asientos en toda la ciudad. para llegar ahi, tenemos que caminar un poco; y cada año comprobamos que vale la pena!!!!

La silla que vacía que esta a la derecha es la mia... hey!... alguien tenía que tomar las fotos!!!!

I was so happy to see Dedra Long blogging again!!! so happy,  I joined her new adventure called:  One Weekend 2 shots 

These are Dedra's own words explaining what this is about: "One Weekend 2 shots is for all of us out there who are to busy to take a photo everyday, our schedules are just to hectic. This is about taking a photo every Saturday and Sunday for a year, then post them to your blog. There is no pressure you can just post them anytime on Saturday and Sunday. This is a way for me and you to document, in photos, the two days when our families can be together the most."

Me puse muy felíz que Dedra Long, esta blogeando otra vez!!! Tan felíz que me acabo de unir en su nueva aventura llamada One Weekend 2 shots (Un fin de semana 2 fotografías)

It was a very lazy day... to hot to go outside, we just went  to get a new video game for Seth's Nintendo DS, then we stop for Chinese food.  I was so pleased to see Seth eating lots of broccoli; he said something like this: "Mom, I LOVE broccoli, you should use it more often in our meals you know?" uhhh...ok!?!?!?!  I had a lot of things to say... but  decided to let him eat  instead.

Hoy fué uno de esos días que no hicimos nada... afuera está muy caliente, solo salimos a comprar un juego nuevo para el Nintendo DS de Seth y después paramos a comprar comida China.  Me dio mucho gusto ver que Seth comió mucho brocoli, y luego me dijo: "Mamá,  I LOVE brocoli,  deberías usarlo más seguido en las comida ¿no crees?"  uhhh...ok!?!?! le pude haber ducho muchas cosas... pero mejor lo dejé comer.

Now... the sneak peak... it's of a card that will be posted tomorrow on Kiki Art's Blog (Spanish version).
