Every 4th of July, we watch the fire works from a little hill in Tempe (AZ)

We've done it for the past 6 years. In our opinion, we have the best seats in town. To get there we  have to hike a little bit; but every year, we confirm... that  it is worthy!!!!

The empty chair on the right is mine... hey!...  somebody had to take the pictures!!!

Cada 4 de Julio, miramos los juegos pirotecnicos desde una colinita en Tempe (Arizona). Lo hemos hecho por los últimos 6 años. En nuestra opinión, nosotros siempre tenemos los mejores asientos en toda la ciudad. para llegar ahi, tenemos que caminar un poco; y cada año comprobamos que vale la pena!!!!

La silla que vacía que esta a la derecha es la mia... hey!... alguien tenía que tomar las fotos!!!!

I survived!!!!!! Sobrevivi!!!!!!!

Hello, I got home yesterday  around 6:30ish pm!!!  Soooooooo tired, I don't want to know anything about camping or cooking  or rice pudin (more to come in another post) for at least 3 days hahahahaha!!!

Overall, it was a great expirience, the boys were great; but maaaan can they eat! =)

The weather was goooorgeous! 

One day we had a "stinky" visitor, around 4 am, who passed right outside my room's window. Why, why my window?? haha I wasn't able to go back to sleep.

Hola!!!   Regrese ayer alrededor de las 6:00 pm!!!  Super cansada, y no quiero saber nada de acampar, cocinar o arroz con leche (les cuento mas en otro post)  por los siguientes 3 dias jajajaja!!!

A grandes razgos,  fué una maravillosa experiencia, los muchachos se portaron super biem pero ijooles como comen!!!!

El clima estuvo perfecto!

Un día tuvimos un visitante "apéstosito",  como eso de las 4:oo am, que pasó justo fuera de la ventana de mi recamara. ¿Por que, por que my ventana?  No tengo ni que decir que ya no me pude volver a dormir.

PIENSA SCRAP , is a blog I found thru another blogger; as soon as I entered there I felt "the energy". They have an awesome challenge, it was kind of hard for me... "Masculine vs Femenine" , the challenge was to use girly things on a boyish layout. I don't know what these "guys" are going to say when I show them the layout I created. :)

Finalmente "hice scrap" de algunas fotos del ultimo campamento de la iglesia. La Madre Naturaleza nos regalo mucha luuvia, para algunos esto fue una inconveniencia, para otros pura diversion, solo miren las fotos en esta pagina; aqui esta Perla despues de haberse divertido en el lodo...

I made the flowers with felt ribbon and pom poms, I love how they turned out, I think they are very pretty, if i can say that about my own creations :)

Changing ideas here, today we are going to this place:
This is a view from the main house.
Here, our church scout troop will be camping for a week (june 22-june 27); this weekend they are cleaning the area, fixing the cabins and the main house. The pond is empy right now but will be this gorgeous in one week.
My husband and I will be cooking for the boys and their leaders, it is a lot of work, but for a week in this paradise I don't care!!!

Cambiando de ideas, hoy nos vamos a este lugar:
Esta es una vista desde la casa principal. Aqui la tropa de scaouts de la iglesia va a acampar por una semana (junio 22-junio 27); este fin de semana ellos van a limpiar el area, las cabanas y la casa principal. el lago esta vacio ahorita pero en una semana se mirara asi de hermoso. Mi esposo y yo vamos a cocinar por los muchachos y sus lideres, es muuucho trabajo, pero por pasar una semana en este paraiso no me importa!!!!
